Release The Prophetic Arrows

As I was praying a couple days ago, I saw a picture of a person releasing a prophetic word. As they did that, a gate opened so the word could go through. The Lord reminded me of the story in 2 Kings 13:15-17, where Elisha told King Joash to open the window that faces the east (east represent the glory of the Lord) to shoot the arrow of victory. Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands to help him shoot the arrow. I believe we're in a season where God is granting us access where we did not have it before to release our prophetic arrows (words). Like Elisha put His hands upon the king's hands, the Lord is putting His hands upon ours to guide the release of our arrows so they will hit their mark!

The Lord began to show me many times we miss our target, because our words are too broad. We're afraid to make them precise, because we fear missing it. An arrow is an object that carries an edge so it can break through and stick to it's target. When we make our words too broad, they carry a dull edge unable to breakthrough and hit the intended target. Take the time to craft your arrows (words), precision is needed in this hour. And be purposeful in your launch. I see many in the spirit launching arrows with no direction, just hoping it might hit something. When we learn to use our spiritual eyes to see, the Lord will show us the precise target to aim for.

Sometimes the release requires more than one arrow. Many have become discouraged because they only shot their arrow once. The battle often requires more than one arrow for breakthrough. In 2 Kings 18-19 Elisha told the king,
“Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him, “Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.” Many times we can short ourselves because we don't always follow through, we do just enough. We must learn to be relentless.

In our spiritman we have a prophetic womb, where our words (arrows) develop and await release. Often times we carry the arrow of victory or the arrow of breakthrough within us, But we miss our open window/gate because, we fail to shoot the arrow. We have a tendency to believe we always have to wait upon the Lord to do something. Sometimes that is the case, but the Lord has empowered us. What you need already resides with you or around you, like the arrows King Joash had around him..

I want to encourage you in this season, you've been granted access where you did not have it before. Don't miss your moment to release the arrows of the Lord. As Elisha placed his hands upon the king's hands, God is putting His super on your natural. As you launch your prophetic arrows, they're going to catch the wind of the Spirit, to enable them to hit their intended mark. The Lord is faithful to watch over His word until it accomplishes or succeeds in the thing it was sent and purposed for. It's time to release the prophetic arrows of the Lord! 🏹🏹🏹🎯
