This time of reset and refreshing has created the perfect conditions and environment for fresh revelation to fall. The spirit realm is very active and brewing with fresh heavenly downloads, strategy, dreams, visions, and revelation. Whatever you need its there for the taking, Just reach up and grab what you need, the spirit realm is bubbling with the things of God. The peace of God being released in this season allows you to enter into the realm of the mind of Christ. Peace is the seedbed or soil where revelation is produced and released. As we've stepped into 2020, a new era, a sovereign pause button has been pushed. This pause has created the space we need to receive the new. Things will never be the same. The Lord did not cause corona virus, but He's using it to get our attention. This is a major season of renovation, reconstruction, and revamping. Many prophetic voices including myself prophesied about the new as we stepped into 2020. We can't keep doing the same things individually, as a Church, or as a nation and expect something new. To have the new we must do the new. What has worked in past seasons will not work in this new era.
It may seem like a dark season, but it's in and out the darkness where some of the greatest revelation is revealed. We see this in Genesis 1:1-3 AMP,"In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3 And God said,“Let there be light”; and there was light." Just like in the creation story, in dark times the Spirit of the Lord hovers over us creating something new. When the Lord said, "Let there be light." the uncovering of the darkness revealed what the Lord was creating. Embrace the dark seasons, because it's the place where something new is birthed. Just because it's dark doesn't mean its evil. God loves to work in the dark as much as He does in the light. Throughout the Bible it mentions that God hides Himself in darkness. The greatest revelations are not necessarily found in the places of ascension, but they are in the recesses and depths, the hidden places of God. The Lord declares in Isaiah 45:3, "I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches from the secret places." Great reward is found in the depths of God.
How do we position ourselves to receive revelation? It's not as complicated or as theological as some make it sound. It's simple. It's about the heart. Remember peace is the seed bed of revelation. In Luke 8 Jesus describes four different soils the farmer threw the seed upon and the outcome of what happened to the seed. Four is prophetic and represents creation or creation.
1. Hard Ground: Luke 8:5 TPT says, "A farmer went out to sow seeds for a harvest. As he scattered his seed, some of it fell on the hard pathway and was quickly trampled down and unable to grow and became nothing but bird seed."
2. Rocky Ground: Luke 8:6 TPT says, "Some fell on the gravel, and though it sprouted it couldn’t take root; it withered for lack of moisture."
3. Ground of Weeds/Lies: Luke 8:7 TPT says, "Other seed fell where there was nothing but weeds. It too was unable to grow to full maturity, for it was choked out by the weeds.
4. Fertile Ground: Luke 8:8 TPT says, "Yet some of the seed fell into good, fertile soil, and it grew and flourished until it produced more than a hundredfold harvest, a bumper crop.”
If you've been struggling to receive or discern revelation ask the Lord what does the soil of your heart look like. A good question to ask yourself is; can the soil of my heart yield a harvest? True revelation will always produce fruit and a harvest. As you begin to identify the soil of your heart, ask the Holy Spirit the strategy for having a heart that can foster and grow the things of God. Jesus also gives us this caution and revelation about our hearts, "So pay careful attention to your hearts as you hear my teaching, for to those who have open hearts, even more revelation will be given to them until it overflows. And for those who do not listen with open hearts, what little light they imagine to have will be taken away" (Luke 8:18 TPT).
To receive revelation it's not only about the soil of your heart, but also the openness of your heart. Walking in greater realms of revelation and insight require a greater surrender or yielding of heart. Jesus said in Luke 8:18 that opening our hearts even more would release more revelation to the point it would overflow in our lives. We have access to the secrets of the Kingdom of God. Let's not miss this divine season of insight and revelation. Open your heart and let the soil of your heart be receptive to the seeds of revelation being released, so it grow and produce a harvest in you life and ministry.
