Breakthrough is a word that is stirring in the realm of the spirit now as we are approaching 2020. Several prophets have been speaking about it to prepare and position the Body of Christ to step into 2020. I believe many are speaking on it because it’s on God’s heart. He knows this has been a challenging year for many. As I’ve been praying into the last few weeks of December, the Lord keeps speaking that He is releasing a finishing grace. It’s a grace and empowering to end 2019 well no matter what it has look like the past 11 months. There’s a grace being released to finish up projects, business ideas, books, songs, etc where the warfare of the past few months has tried to hinder and delay. I declare and decree you shall finish up and tie up the loose ends of what has remained unfinished.
In this hour its really important to focus in on the true prophets of God, because they are releasing vision for what’s next and context for what you’ve been going through. It’s the promise of 2 Chronicles 20:20, “Believe in and trust in the Lord and you will be established. Believe and trust in His prophets and succeed.” The transition in 2019 and really in the past couple years has been hard but necessary. The transition is necessary to position you for what the Lord has prepared for you. He had to remove some relationships, and some of you have changed jobs, or geographical locations. There has been a lot of movement and re-positioning. Maybe you can’t see it, but the Lord has a purpose in this all. This past week the Lord kept bringing up Isaiah 66:7-9 TPT, “Zion gave birth suddenly, even before going into labor. She delivered a son without any painful contractions. 8 Who has ever seen or heard of such a wonder? Can a nation be birthed so suddenly? Yet no sooner does Zion go into labor than she gives birth to sons! 9 Yahweh, your God, says, “Do I allow you to conceive and not to give birth? Do I shut the womb when I’m the one who delivers?” The transition the Lord has had many of you in is positioning you for suddenlies. Just as the scripture says above, “Zion gave birth suddenly,” the Lord has positioned you for a suddenly. A suddenly is something that happens quickly and unexpectedly (dictionary.com). Where it seems like things have been delayed and you have felt stuck, God is shifting you into suddenlies and multiplication. As the scripture says above you’re not just birth “a son” but “sons.” This is your season of double portion. The Lord is faithful to complete his promise in your life and will help you birth it.
I heard the Lord say in this season He’s releasing an ease and comfort to hearts and emotions that have been having a hard time. Ease can be defined as to free from something that pains, disquiets, or burden, alleviate pressure and tension (merriam-webster.com) Isaiah 66:13 TPT says, “13 As a mother tenderly comforts her child, so will I tenderly comfort you, and you will find comfort in Jerusalem.” You’re going to know and experience the Lord’s comfort in a fresh way as you cry out to Him. You will also experience His refreshing. Dead and hardened hearts are coming alive again! Psalm 126:4 TPT declares, “May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again.” The Lord shared with me that there will be a reason to celebrate by the end of 2019 as you go into 2020. You may have not had anything or much that you feel like you could be happy about in this year, but the Lord is moving on your behalf. How you leave one season sets the tone for how you enter your next.
Your weeping season is turning into your reaping season. 2020 is going to be a year of great harvest. Your tears have not been in vain. They have been watering the harvest of your life. Psalm 126:5-6 TPT says, “Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing.” You may have entered 2019 one way, but I prophesy you’re leaving 2019 and stepping into 2020 with armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing. Joy is your portion. Where it has seemed like like sadness and pain have been your portion, your weeping is turning into joy. You will taste and see the goodness of the Lord. The Lord is shifting and transitioning you for a great comeback in 2020. Nothing that has happened to you in 2019 will be wasted, the Lord will use it for His glory in your life.
